Daily Disposable Contact Lens For Sensitive Eyes

Disposable contact lens is divided into two types, a daily wear disposable contact lens and extended wear disposable contact lens. The different between these type of contacts based on the period of wear. A daily one is recommended to be removed at night before sleeping. An extended wear disposable is recommended for continuous wear during sleep at night, usually for 5 or more consecutive day/night.

Considering the side effect of these types of disposable lenses, the extended wear contact lens may cause an increase risk of irritation to the eye, this may be due to poor care of the lenses. For sensitive eyes, it is recommended to wear a daily disposable contact lens, because more comfort to eyes with special care. A good contact lens is the one that sterile, soft, and clean. Therefore we need to replace a disposable contact lens daily to avoid irritation and other serious infection.

Where to find a good disposable contact lens? For the first time-user, disposable contact lens can be obtained from variety of sources, but first you have to visit an eye care practicioner (ECP) to get evaluated.  But if you are already a contact lens wearer, a prescription from previous contact lens  recommendation from ECP is needed to buy a new disposable contact lens.
